To explore a cave in Minecraft, players usually first need to store up dozens of torches and probably will waste them in some corner of the cave as the torch have to be put on the ground or a wall to give light. And this is pretty tiresome. But things are about to change with Dynamic Lights Mod.
Dynamic Lights is a simple mod yet extremely useful. With this mod, you can actually use your light sources even if it’s in your hand and not on a wall. This makes things a lot more convenient for players and simultaneously brings Minecraft a more sense of realism. Like normally torch lights up when you carry it with your hand, doesn’t it? Now you can freely go exploring a cave with a single torch and the light will follow you anywhere. There are also a bunch of other things can be used as light sources, such as redstone, jack-o’-lantern, glowstone block, lava bucket, etc. Moreover, these things can light everything up when placing on the ground as well. This is quite interesting and amazing. Now you can easily keep everything around nice and bright by holding simply throwing a torch or any light sources.
Toggle button Ingame:
The key is “L”. You can turn all dynamic Lights on/off with it. The button can be rebound using the ingame options. There is no limit to the number of lights you can create, note however they are fairly FPS-costly. You can disable modules to obtain better FPS!
Optifine is recommended for replacing Notch’s funky render code with slightly less funky rendering code.
