Exploring around and killing enemies in the Overworld or the Nether are quite enjoyable, especially when it comes down to dungeon-related conquests. Now take to the sky and the adventure is going to be even greater with the Floating Ruins Mod. As the name suggests, Floating Ruins Mod adds random floating ruins (or you might say floating islands, to be more precise) in the sky, with eccentric structures, full of hostile mobs and highly valuable loot chests.
In Floating Ruins Mod, the islands’ type depend much on which biome they’re in, so do the blocks and mob spawner types. These islands are like mini dungeons, taken directly from the ground and sent up into the sky. As a result, there will be massive pits right under the islands, go down exploring a bit and you might find some good resources and such. A friendly reminder, most of the islands are located very high in the sky, so setting foot into one while being in survival mode would be a real tough challenge. But it’s surely worth the try, as climbing and killing enemies at the height of thousands meters will definitely be a great experience, especially for the adventure lovers!
