Immortal Reborn is a fresh new resource pack that hasn’t even been out for a month yet and has already managed to receive quite a lot of downloads and critical acclaim from the Minecraft community. What’s most impressive about this pack is the fact that it doesn’t really bring any fresh ideas to the table but still manages to get by which is mainly in part thanks to how well executed it is and how carefully each one of its textures has been drawn. If you’re looking for something innovative, then you won’t find anything here, but if you value execution above all else, then Immortal Reborn is a pack that you can probably get behind.
Before going into any further detail about Immortal Reborn, it’s worth mentioning that the pack is still in its experimental stages and is subject to potential drastic changes in the future. However, the art style likely won’t change because the current one is actually quite nice and makes Minecraft look very appealing. The pack has some of the most luminous and colorful textures that we’ve seen in a while and these textures make the game world look more immersive and vibrant then ever.
The textures of Immortal Reborn have been built at a resolution of x64 which is fairly high as compared to most standard packs and due to this high resolution, the detail in the textures is quite substantial. Of course, it goes without saying that since the pack is still very rough around the edges so you’ll likely experience a few bugs, glitches or even FPS issues while trying it out but these are bound to get patched out at some point in the near future implying that the pack keeps getting updated.
