Mining is a fun, exciting and enjoyable activity. Thus, there are a large number of mods out there supporting this cool little aspect of Minecraft. Standing out from other mining mods, Metallurgy Mod will completely bring the ‘mine’ in your Minecraft into a whole new level. Basically, the mod is a huge expansion to the basic mining system, adding over 48 new ores, tools and many more items.

In the mod, these new metals are hidden all around the Overworld, the Nether and there are even some ores which you can’t find but need to craft to have them. Along with the addition of new metals, Metallurgy mod also adds plenty of new special machines that provide unique functionality to enhance mining. For instance, we’ll have Crusher which turns raw ore into dust, Precious Metal Chests with much higher capacity, Metal Furnaces, Smelters, Abstracters and so on. Remarkably, this mod allows you to alloy two metals by mixing respective dusts in your crafting bench, like putting copper and tin in your craft bench and you’ll have Bronze. The alloys crafted mostly carry all their base components’ features with a little bonus, which usually help in improving mining and other tools’ capability in the mod.
